Who are We...

The New Jersey Strategic Prayer Network began in 1997. Our mandate was to develop a trained network of intercessors throughout the state of New Jersey. We began to do this by holding one-day conferences, inter-denominationally, to teach and impart the gifts of intercession within the local churches.

After three years, Chuck D. Pierce, our mobilizing Apostle, suggested we begin to meet monthly for prayer, in a different region of the state each time, to allow the newly instructed intercessors to put into action what they had been learning. As a result, Regional Gatherings were birthed according to Zech. 8:20-21. The statewide team of intercessors and ministry leaders began to meet monthly in local churches, in a different city each month, to seek the face of the Lord through worship and prayer.

The fruit has been incredible. There are many testimonies of increased salvations and pastoral unity in the territories where the network has gathered. We love the fact that in many of the cities where the NJSPN Team has assembled corporately to pray and worship, local leadership, in those same regions, now facilitate their own monthly prayer gatherings. The ability to reproduce is a key factor in Kingdom ministry. Our heart is to see this happen in every region we visit.

Several times each year we travel across New Jersey to pray on sight at specific locations. This allows us to equip intercessors for strategic level prayer in their territories. Using Daniel chapter 9:1-4 for a model, we help them understand through the word of God the times and seasons of God for prayer purposes. We train intercessors to “spiritually map” their territories, which enables them to spot how and where the sinful and redemptive issues of their city surface, and what they can do to bring Godly change to these areas through focused prayer.

Today, NJSPN co labors with many wonderful prayer ministries, apostolic networks and local churches here in New Jersey. Together, we stand as a united front, crying out for God’s Kingdom to come on earth, as it is in Heaven.
